Structure The Independent Music World Championship 2026 (IMWM 2026) is broken down into four heats. At the start of each heat, contestants will have six weeks to prepare and upload their material to the website. At the end of this period, the public have six weeks to vote for their favourite act. The three acts that receive the most votes win the prizes and go through to the grand final. Heat One The closing date for applications for heat 1 is 8/09/2026. Voting begins on the following Saturday and closes on 01/10/2026. (*other heat details to be posted later
